
The Prime Minister of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, visited Finland on 7 and 8 May. He met Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen on the second day of his visit. The prime ministers discussed Croatia's EU membership, the rapprochement of the Western Balkans with the European Union, regional cooperation and other key EU issues such as growth and employment, including the internal market, the stability of the euro, the multiannual financial framework for 2014-2020, and the EU's future. Discussions also touched on bilateral issues.

During the visit, Croatia’s Prime Minister also had the opportunity to meet with President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and Speaker of Parliament Eero Heinäluoma.
