Why Transparency?
Experiences and Good Practices from Finland

Transparency is a core value of Finland and one of the reasons behind Finland's successful rise in the past 100 years from one of the poorest countries in Europe to a prosperous country with a place at the top of international, social and economic rankings. Finland has a good track record in the performance of its public administration, which is considered well-organised and efficient, transparent and very reliable. This event will be a discussion and an exchange of ideas on the crucial role of transparency in building a successfully functioning society.
